Marchela Dimitrova

It is an icon of Jesus Christ Just Judge painted by me last Summer. It was created in my studio at White Gouse Farm, Great Glemham, Suffolk, the UK. It is on wooden panel of size 100 by 70 cm made by local carpenter [Reymond Hopkins] of local oak tree [Glemham oak] primed with linen cloth [made in Russia] and gesso, using egg tempera [hight quality natural pigments and egg emulsion, and golden leaf 24 carats [made in Germany]. The icon was included in my icon exhibition at Alde Valley Sring Festival 2017. It represents the Final Judgment of Jesus Christ according the gospel of Matthew 25:31-46 ‘When the Son of Man come in his glory with all of his angels…’
